The Third Floor

Chef Michael Magallanes leads an ambitious culinary and beverage program for Omakase Restaurant Group. The Third Floor was created to be a place for the community and hotel guests to gather, whether that be to drink, dine or a bit of both. The Third Floor at The Jay is sophisticated and timeless — a new San Francisco institution in the making and unlike anything else in the city.

The Third Floor Terrace

The roof-top outdoor Terrace at The Third Floor offers an incredible venue to enjoy bites and sip craft cocktails. The Terrace features soft seating, fire pits, glass windbreaks and a full bar, with entertainment and programming on select nights. The Terrace fills quickly so get there early to pick your perfect spot to enjoy the city views.

Prelude offers a modern spin on Southern cuisine, combining traditional flavors with innovative techniques and the finest Bay Area ingredients. Executive Chef Celtin Hendrickson-Jones takes inspiration from his Alabama heritage, reinventing his grandmothers’ classic recipes with a creative touch, drawing on his experience from acclaimed restaurants like Niku Steakhouse, Commis, Verdant, and Morimoto.

Whether you’re an early riser or a late sleeper, you’ll find the perfect start to your morning at our Coffee Bar. Featuring coffee by Bay Area roaster Equator Coffee, a high-impact coffee company focused on quality, sustainability and social responsibility, our Coffee Bar offers more than just great espressos, lattes and cappuccinos. From 6 am to 10:30 am daily, enjoy fresh, house-made pastries and fresh juices alongside your favorite brews. We also offer tea from local, second-generation female-owned Red Blossom Tea Company, just a few blocks away from The Jay in Chinatown. Be sure to pop into their tasting room for high-end teas.
